Your mornings will begin in the breakfast room of the “I Chiostri” restaurant. In this spacious room, flooded by light from large windows facing the hotel’s internal garden, our guests enjoy a delicious buffet breakfast.
The full, varied breakfast at the Grand Hotel Minerva satisfies everyone with all fresh food and mouth-watering recipes, with special consideration for those counting calories or requiring gluten-free foods.
Lunch and Dinner
The Ristorante “I Chiostri”, open for both lunch and dinner, is a meeting point for Florentines and a world-class restaurant for its guests. This Florence Restaurant serves the finest dishes of the Mediterranean and Tuscan tradition given a personal touch by our chef, Sandro Pedica. It is closed on Sundays.

From June to October the Grand Hotel Minerva’s Ristorante “I Chiostri” extends outdoors onto an elegant, inviting terrace. Our guests lunch and dine in one of Florence’s finest piazzas. The culinary delights of the chef, the glow of the candles, the view of the façade of the Santa Maria Novella church so close you can touch it, and the sight of Brunelleschi’s Duomo come together create a dazzling experience delighting all of your senses.
From October to May, the Bar is in the hotel’s lobby. The bar was designed by the eminent Italian architect Carlo Scarpa.
In the summer, the bar moves by the pool on the sixth floor, and takes the name 360 Three-Sixty serving aperitifs, drinks, cocktails, fruit and vegetable smoothies, as well as delicious snacks.
Both in the winter and in the summer from 18:30 until 21:00 in Italy it’s Aperitif time at the Grand Hotel Minerva is “TIME FOR TAPAS”!
Resident and non-resident guests are welcome to our Aperitivo where they can get surprised by our chef’s creativity. Together with your favorite aperitif guests can order a mini-tray of 3 delicious home-made tapas. Every day different. Every day fresh.
