This exclusive 4 star superior hotel is situated in the central Santa Maria Novella Square, made precious and restored by architects Edoardo Detti and Carlo Scarpa. Grand Hotel Minerva is one of the most prestigiously appreciated and well known hotels in Florence and has hosted such celebrities as Orfeo Tamburi who in 1963 left the above thought which best represents the spirit of the hotel.

The hotel has 102 elegantly furnished styled rooms with a view of either the piazza or the Santa Maria Novella’s church cloister. Grand Hotel Minerva is characterized by a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The rooms are accessible either by the large stair case or by elevator. The room doors are decorated with photographs of antique Florentine doors while the common seating areas are furnished with antique pieces.
