ZTL No Problem Little tips to reach without problems the Grand Hotel Minerva.

We are inside the Traffic Limited Zone (patrolled by cameras!). Our customers can drive into it only to reach the hotel but are not allowed to drive into bus lanes (cameras also here!)

PLEASE REPORT YOUR PLATE NUMBER TO RECEPTION EVERY TIME YOU REACH THE HOTEL WITH YOUR CAR

Your car will be parked at a garage nearby by the garage staff: payment conditions are displayed on the reception desk. The corresponding amount will be charged on the room bill. To have your car brought back to the garage, please allow us 10-15 minutes.

Please consider the hotel staff at your disposal for further information.

For clients trying to reach the hotel:

- From the Pisa airport “G. Galilei” , we suggest to take the train for Firenze Santa Maria Novella with departures every hour.

- At the Florence airport “A. Vespucci”, we suggest to take the shuttle bus to the train station Santa Maria Novella, or a taxi which will take about 15 minutes.

- Upon arriving at the train station Santa Maria Novella we suggest a 200 metre walk to the hotel or a taxi that will only take a few minutes.

- By car we suggest the following route to avoid a traffic fine:

From North and West (A1/A11)

• Exit Firenze Nord (Florence North) and follow instructions to Centro/Stazione (Downtown/Station)
• At the end of Viale Redi enter shortly Viale Belfiore taking a right and then cross it to enter Via Guido Monaco in front of you on the left hand, past the traffic light
• Turn left into viale Strozzi (pass under the railway bridge) and proceed into Viale Lavagnini. Turn right into Via Santa Caterina D’Alessandria and proceed into via Nazionale (see map)
• At its end drive anticlockwise at the big roundabout of Piazza Stazione and enter via Panzani, leaving Grand Hotel Baglionion your left side
• Proceed leaving Via del Giglio on your right and turn into Via de’ Banchi once arrived at a crossroads: it is almost a switchback!
• Drive along Via de’ Banchi, enter Santa Maria Novella Square and drive carefully (pedestrian area) and anticlockwise to reach the hotel
• You can park in front of it to download your luggage: valet service available at reception

From South (A1)

• Exit Firenze Sud (Florence South) and follow directions to Centro/Stazione (Downtown/Station). Once in Piazza della Libertà, keep your right and drive into Via Lorenzo il Mangnifico. Turn left into via Poliziano. Drive straight ahead crossing the boulevard and entering via Santa Caterina D’Alessandria, which then becomes Via Nazionale (see map)
• At its end drive anticlockwise at the big roundabout of Piazza Stazione and enter via Panzani, leaving Grand Hotel Baglioni on your left side
• Proceed leaving Via del Giglio on your right and turn into Via de’ Banchi once arrived at a crossroads: it is almost a switchback!
