Grand Hotel Minerva – Florence Meeting & Events

The Grand Hotel Minerva is the perfect place in Florence for business meetings, residential events and incentive trips. It’s ideal for meeting the needs of business groups requiring up to 50 rooms and at least two small accessory rooms.

We have five meeting rooms of varying capacities. The largest can accommodate up to 80 people in theatre-style seating (or 36 at classroom-style tables) The meeting rooms are furnished with free Internet connection. Included in the cost are mineral water, pens, folders and notepaper, flip charts, overhead projector and an amplification system.

The dining spaces (maximum capacity 180 people in a single room) are plenty to ensure comfort and prompt service to let you stick to your schedule. The menus served are abundant and vary according to the season, budget and type of event, ranging from a simple buffet-style working breakfasts to gala dinners.

Grand Hotel Minerva facilities are available for dinners, cocktails, parties, and weddings, in addition to business meetings.

Free Wi-Fi Internet access provided throughout the hotel.

Our five meeting rooms enjoy plenty of natural light, together with their furnishings and interior design (the work of architects Edoardo Detti and Carlo Scarpa) make them more than just regular spaces for business meetings.

Sala Caminetto, on the first floor, is the largest (up to 80 people in a theatre layout). It features a fireplace designed by famed architect Carlo Scarpa and a terrace for outdoor coffee breaks.

Sala Vasari, on the ground floor, has a splendid frescoed ceiling and features a veranda, perfect for coffee breaks.

Sala Greco, on the ground floor, is embellished by lithographs by the artist Emilio Greco and is directly connected to Sala Talenti, which can be used as a private restaurant.

Sala Veranda, on the ground floor, is perfect as a showroom or meeting room and directly adjoins the Ristorante "I Chiostri".

At the Grand Hotel Minerva we organize lunches, dinners and cocktails for up to 180 people (for a seated service) in our indoor restaurant, “I Chiostri ”, and up to 130 people (for a standing service) on our scenic terrace around the swimming pool. If the bride and groom decide to spend their first night with us, we offer a complimentary upgrade to a Suite.
